Hello, Class of 2026 Parents and Students!

Mr. Kincaid and Mrs. Childs will be your Senior Class Advisors this year. They are two of the four high school counselors and are happy to be your advisors. They want to help you have a great senior year!

We will use this webpage for announcements, dates, and other helpful resources. Students we will use the Senior Schoology page and Remind App as our primary form of communicating and interacting with you.

The Grand Finale is Almost Here! 

Get ready to celebrate, Class of 2026! We have all the essential details for your milestone moments, from the nostalgic Senior Walk and mandatory Graduation Practices to the big Commencement Ceremony and your professional Graduation Photos by Lifetouch.

Senior Walk Timeline:

Tuesday, May 26th 2026

High School Kick-off

  • 8:00 a.m. Graduates Arrive

  • 8:25 a.m. – Class Cap and Gown Photo (Gymnasium).

  • 8:55 a.m. – HS Students & Staff: Please line the Main Lobby, Library/Office hallway, and 100 wing.

  • 9:00 a.m. – Seniors: Exit the Gym and head toward Ringing Rocks.

    • Hold at the Main Lobby for direction from the Principal or Senior Class Advisor. * Parents and District Office staff will line up along School Lane at this time.

  • 9:10 a.m. – Ringing Rocks Senior Walk begins.

District-Wide Tour

  • 9:20 a.m. – Load buses at Ringing Rocks and depart for the Middle School.

  • 9:30 a.m. – Arrive at MS and resume the Senior Walk.

  • 9:50 a.m. – Depart MS for Lower Elementary.

  • 10:00 a.m. – Arrive at Lower Elementary.

  • 10:10 a.m. – Begin Senior Walk at Lower Elementary.

  • 10:25 a.m. – Depart Lower Elementary for West Elementary.

  • 10:50 a.m. – Arrive at West Elementary.

  • 10:55 a.m. – West Senior Walk begins.

  • 11:10 a.m. – Depart West Elementary for the return to the High School.

  • 11:25 a.m. – Seniors arrive back at the High School and are dismissed for the day.

Commencement Practice Details: 

Wednesday, May 27, 2026

  • 8:00 a.m. SHARP: Attendance is taken.

  • Dress: Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.

  • Bring: Water and a snack.

  • Note: Please be patient; we will perform three practice processions and recessionals indoors.

  • 11:00 a.m.: Goal end time, students are dismissed for the day.

Thursday, May 28, 2026

  • 8:00 a.m. SHARP: Attendance is taken.

  • Dress: Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.

  • Bring: Water and a snack.

  • Note: Be prepared for the weather—we will be outside if it is dry.

  • Practice: One indoor run and two outdoor practices.

  • 11:00 a.m.: Goal end time, students are dismissed for the day.

Graduation Day!! 

Friday, May 29th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. (Graduates must arrive by 5:00 p.m.)

Rain or shine - gates/doors open at 5:00 p.m.  

Commencement Location & Inclement Weather Policy

Weather permitting, commencement will be held outside in Falcon Stadium. If the weather becomes a factor, a final decision regarding the location (indoor vs. outdoor) will be made by 3:00 p.m. on the day of graduation.

  • Outdoor Ceremony: No tickets are required for family and friends.

  • Indoor Ceremony: If the ceremony is moved indoors due to inclement weather, seating will be limited, and tickets will be required.

Each senior will receive five (5) tickets closer to the graduation date.

Live-Streaming & Viewing Options We will live-stream the ceremony in the school auditorium and on the web. Seats in the auditorium are available on a first-come, first-served basis (no tickets required). Commencement can also be viewed live on PCTV; a link will be shared as we get closer to the big day.

Final Graduation Requirements:

  • Counselor Check-in: Seniors must communicate with their school counselor to ensure they are on track to graduate.

  • Attendance: If you do NOT plan to attend the commencement ceremony, please notify a senior advisor as soon as possible.

Attire for Graduates at Commencement:

  • Wear your cap flat, not tilted 

  • Only stashes/ropes/stoles/chords that can be worn during Pottsgrove Graduation are ones from us here at Pottsgrove, the Western Center, MontCo, NJROTC, and/or from the branch of the US Military. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • No decorating gowns 

  • Sneakers and jeans are not permitted

Men’s Dress Guidelines: 

  • Dark shoes and socks

  • Dark dress pants, a collared dress shirt, and a tie

Women’s Dress Guidelines:

  • Light-colored shoes or sandals (High Heels Are Not Recommended - the heels dig into the mud, which can cause you to fall) 

  • Light-colored attire such as a white blouse, skirt, dress, or pants

If you cannot obtain the clothes as outlined above, please contact us at least one week before commencement so we can help you obtain these items.

Decorating Caps:

The Senior Class has permission to decorate the top of their caps for commencement as long as they meet the conditions listed below.  Failure to comply with these conditions will result in wearing a cap that is not decorated.

All decorations must follow these guidelines:

Do’s (Ideas on how to decorate)

  • Thank a family member, staff member, friend, or loved one for supporting you

  • Celebrate your class and the year of graduation

  • Feature your next steps in life, such as college, career, military, etc.

  • Be creative and colorful - show your personal mission

Dont’s (Caps with these decorations are not permitted)

  • No sexually suggestive writing/pictures. 

  • Nothing that advocates violence, hatred, or bigotry.

  • No advertising or promoting the use of tobacco, alcohol, or drugs. 

  • No statements, phrases, or images with double-meaning wording or obscene language.

  • Nothing that violates the school dress code

  • Nothing that is 3-D (For example, it must be flat on your cap - it cannot dangle, or hang from - it can in no way change the size, shape, features, or context of the original cap).  

  • No QR Codes, websites, phone numbers, emails, or other information that directs someone to another source of information is permitted.
